I can’t speak for you, but there’s a strong chance I was in the very position you are now, reading this. I’d got to the top of my profession, was making great money, I still had a passion for sales and so much more to offer, but I was bloody miserable. Part-Time Sales Director

Hiring a sales director is a big deal for any company, particularly for small or medium-sized businesses, it is critical that they get it right. A Sales Director’s salary can be prohibitive, particularly if they want the very best sales leaders with significant experience and a great track record in sales growth.

In sales, the cream almost always rises to the top and in return, the very best in the sales profession get heavily rewarded. Usually, the most talented sales professionals end up in large corporate organisations, typically being paid a salary beyond the reach of most businesses.

THE CREAM OF THE CROP is now available for businesses of all sizes. When a small business hires you as their Sales Geek, they are tapping into all your experience and expertise at a fraction of the cost it would take to hire you full-time.

The work you do will transform your client’s sales operations and the people within it and behind it. Using our flexible – ‘consume what you need’ – model, you will act as their sales director/business leader.

You will have access to Team Geek in the background who are all available to support you in various disciplines, from people training to e-Commerce, Marketing, Strategy, Process and Development, and beyond.

For most businesses, you will probably work between 1-3 days per month. For others, you could be working with them once a week or more. A typical contract length is 6-12 months and beyond.

EXIT STRATEGY
The plan is that you don’t work with a client indefinitely. You will work with the business for as long as it takes for them to hire that full-time sales leader that they can afford and is the perfect fit for their business in the long term. You will even help them to recruit that person leveraging your existing contacts and inside knowledge.

Sales Geek Trainer

Sales Geek offer the highest quality sales and leadership training, both face to face and digitally, to create our award-winning blended learning solutions for UK, and International audiences.

The work you do will transform your client’s sales operations and the people within and behind it. Our training curriculum covers all aspects of; sales capability, leadership & management development, change management, culture change, customer services, account management, and much more. Content is delivered either in isolation as a fully-fledged training programme or as a combination of services from the Sales Geek portfolio.

KEY ASPECTS OF SALES GEEK TRAINING

You will also have access to Team Geek who are available to support you in various disciplines, from people training to e-Commerce, Marketing, Strategy, Process and Development, and beyond.

Sales Geek training typically works on a retainer model for most organisations, although ‘one-off’ training, depending on course needs, can also be accommodated. The retainer can last anywhere from 3-12 months depending on the needs and objectives needed for the customer. Our model gives you the flexibility to work the volume of days per month you wish, based on what you want to earn. As well as the main training capability you will have within your franchise, there are also opportunities to increase that revenue from Sales Geeks’ other products.

Supplementary Services

In addition to your earning potential with ‘Part-time Sales Director and Trainer’ service. Sales Geek also offers a series of online and digital services that you could choose to make supplementary income from.

SALES GEEK HUB AND APP
The Sales Geek Hub is an app-based solution for iOS and Android, that gives users access to hundreds of videos, podcasts, and discussion forums all geared around sales, marketing, leadership, and much more.

You will have earning potential through adding users onboard to the Sales Geek Hub. Your earnings will increase again within the Hub if you choose to add unique content of your own for the general Sales Geek Community to view and learn from.

LEARNING PLATFORM WHITE LABEL
The Hub is a fully-fledged LMP platform, that is App/ Android store ready. Clients can choose to take our award-winning platform and customise it to their specific learning needs, giving them creative flexibility and customisation at a fraction of the cost of a Global LMP.

SALES GEEK ACADEMY
The Sales Geek Academy is an online digital learning platform containing dedicated courses on a wide range of topics and subjects. Courses are produced by Sales Geek teams to give users new innovative content on a regular basis. You will have earning potential when selling the Academy to your Sales Director customers as a natural follow on to the service, or as a supplement to sales training for your client. What we are up to?

There’s always loads going on at Sales Geek and stuff you can get involved with. Why not provide a Sales Masterclass for our App members? Tune in for our Strategy Thursdays every fortnight and contribute your expertise. You can form a Sales Club with your local Chamber of Commerce using our existing successful model. Hundreds of local businesses across your region will attend your event every quarter. You could hold a Workshop Wednesday for businesses in your local area or stage your own face to face open training courses. Our new suite of “Sales Geek Training Experience” courses will be available for you to run from this Summer. Theres always loads to get involved in and we are here to support you grow your business.

Geek Tales

Tony commuted to London for twenty years, returning to his family for a few days each week before setting off again. In search of a better work/life balance, he found a new job in Lancaster, which was much nearer his home on the edge of the Bowland Forest. With three girls and a small holding (chickens, ducks, geese and a llama!) to take his interest, the move seemed a good one, addressing his desire to spend more time with his family.

By chance, he met the guys from Sales Geek, who had been brought in to work with Tony’s business. Within six months together they had turned around the sales team who began to hit spectacular targets as a result of the intervention. As a customer, Tony found himself at the heart of the Sales Geek approach and he loved it.

‘I didn’t look at any other options, I had offers for other jobs, but when I rang Sales Geek to discuss working with them, they offered me the opportunity to take a franchise and that was it.’

Tony was attracted to the franchise as it gave him the chance to start up with a team of experts behind him. He’s in control of his working week, and although he feels he could overstretch himself a little with the number of clients he has taken on, Sales Geek have helped keep it firmly under control.

He describes it as ‘hero work’, which is probably very true, although we sincerely hope that when he arrives home from work, Tony hangs his cape up behind the door!
