Our background proves our success and how well we operate businesses! Lou and Lina Migliaccio founded That’s a Wrap Sandwich Co. in 2011, but our story doesn’t start there.

Immigrating to Brooklyn, NY from a small island (Ischia) located in
the bay of Naples, Italy during the late 1970s, Lou’s family opened several award-winning Italian-style restaurants that have continued to operate successfully across a span of four decades. To say “successful restaurateurs” is an understatement! The family’s line of restaurants boasts such honors as NYC Restaurant Of The Year in 1980 and was one of the very first restaurants to film a cooking demonstration on the ICONIC Joe Franklin Show — even with these achievements in their pockets, the Migliaccio Family was just getting started.

When Lou and his family relocated to scenic-and-sunny Florida, the expectation was nothing short of continued success. With the opening of a string of Italian-style restaurants, succeed they did. In fact, the Migliaccio Family continued their winning ways as a perennial top 5 restaurant, until someone made them an “offer they couldn’t refuse”, subsequently selling to a new management company.

Now, Lou and Lina, along with their young kids in training, Matteo and Gabriella, are focused on the next-generation of success! That’s a Wrap Sandwich Co. is a quick serve model that maintains their traditional family recipes and flair, while accounting for a lower operational time- commitment than previous generations and models.
