Our founder, Jacques Shalo, was born into the coffee business. From age five, Jacques was hands-on, on his family’s coffee farm in Cameroon until his teenage years. Upon Jacques’ return to coffee, he began sourcing green beans globally from local farmers to implement sustainable agricultural practices, better working conditions, and quality-of-life improvements.
